HEATED HOSES FOR HOT MELT APPLICATIONS

Flexotherm

manufactures a complete line of automatic standard, flexible and water

resistant heated hoses, as well as hand gun hoses, to meet a wide variety of

applications.

All of our hoses are engineered to meet or exceed industry standards, using a

PTFE Teflon inner core (260C maximum operating temperature) with a stainless

steel overbraid (1400C melting point).

Our high temperature hoses feature a built-in electric heating element
TFE Teflon core is reinforced with a tin/copper overbraid
Construction includes thermal insulation and scuff resistant jacket.
Available with most standard couplings, they are supplied hydraulically and
electrically complete.
They offer flexibility, durability, chemical inertness and high resistance to
corrosion over their entire temperature range

OT MELT APPLICATIONS

Heated hoses feed the hotmelt from the appliance to the applicator system,
ensuring that adhesive properties remain stable.
Our heated hoses ensure a constant temperature and prevent changes in
viscosity.
Flexibility of hoses enables connection to movable appliances and applicator
systems.
Hoses are precision wound and calibrated prior to assembly and feature RTD
temperature area-sensing for thermal accuracy

STAINLESS STEEL BRAIDED HOSES

We offer a heated line with a dense stainless steel braid for higher working
pressures and durability along with TFE Teflon* core heating element and
electrical insulation.
Flexible braiding and teflon core increase durability and ease of handling

CONVOLUTED CORE

ELECTRICALLY HEATED RUBBER HOSES

Core materials compatible with product being conveyed including EPDM, SBR
and neoprene
Feature built-in electric heating element, machine-wound to close tolerances to
assure uniform heating and efficient transfer of thick, viscous substances
In most freeze protection applications, thermal insulation is not required,
eliminating a compressible exterior surface and adding to overall durability
Durable, scuff-resistant jacket
Available in any length up to 1000 feet with one voltage input

MATERIALS

Inner core is made of PTFE to withstand extreme temperatures
Reinforced by stainless steel fabric for high pressure resistance
NTC temperature sensor and heater winding are applied over the steel fabric
Silicon foam layer provides thermal insulation
Outside mesh protects the insulation from mechanical damage
Impact-resistant caps with the electrical connections are attached to both ends
A sealing heat with spigot nut connects the heated hose to the appliance and
applicator system

BENDABLE ELECTRICALLY HEATED STAINLESS STEEL HOSES

Bendable smooth bore stainless steel tube for use in fixed applications where
tubing needs to be bent to the desired configuration and where flexibility is not
required.
Built-in electrical heating element provides temperatures up to 600 degrees F
(315 degrees C).
Electrical insulation features a polyimide film with excellent dielectric
properties.

FLEXIBLE ELECTRICALLY HEATED STAINLESS STEEL HOSE

Flexible stainless steel convoluted core for use in applications where limited
