Hot Runner Systems In hot runner systems, temperature uniformity is critical to ensure balanced melt flow delivery for part-to-part consistency as well as preventing runner obstructions and material degradation. Processors realize enhanced production efficiencies due to the added hot runner precision of the thermal profile as well as reducing cycle times, material scrap and overall system costs. Regardless of the nozzle or manifold, we have the solution to meet the need. Hot runner applications include:
Flexotherm manufactures a complete line of automatic standard, flexible and water resistant heated hoses, as well as hand gun hoses, to meet a wide variety of applications. All of our hoses are engineered to meet or exceed industry standards, using a PTFE Teflon inner core (260C maximum operating temperature) with a stainless steel overbraid (1400C melting point).
This new tubular element with multiple coils and/or thermocouples inside one sheath answers your need for a versatile, innovative tubular heater. This method of packaging a thermocouple inside of a heater with one or more resistance coils provides the ability to sense the heaters' internal temperature accurately. This is the first tubular heater with three-phase capability. The three coil, three-phase heater will offer a lower amperage solution while delivering the full power required in a compact heater package. Previously three separate heaters would have been required to do the same job.
This versatile cable heater can be formed into a variety of shapes as dictated by application. These small diameter, high performance units are fully annealed and readily bent to the desired configuration.

With premium materials and tight manufacturing controls, FIREROD heaters provide superior heat transfer, uniform temperatures and resistance to oxidation and corrosion even at high temperatures.
applications where fast response and uniformity are essential. These high performance heaters use thick film technology to provide maximum temperature response ina compact package. A clamp-on thick film heater provides the best possible combination of heat transfer, themrmal efficiency and temperature uniformity. Applications:
We offer a full line of hot runner nozzle heaters for the plastics industry as well as slip-on heaters for the medical and analytical industries. While every heater has a unique set of capabilities, each nozzle heater is designed to meet specific application requirements. Whether you require high performance, high temperature or high watt density, we have the heater to best fit your application. Nozzle heater benefits:
a material that has much higher thermal conductivity than the mica and hard ceramic insulators used in conventional heaters. The result is more efficient heat transfer ... a performance solution that lowers element temperature and increases life. Features:
The cold end seal on this RTD sensor keeps moisture, oil and other contaminants from the RTD sensor maintaining the integrity of the most demanding application. These RTD sensors use a cold end formed seal which houss a rubber gland. This unique seal replaces the previous epoxy seal and provides protection from a wide variety of chemicals including bleach, ammonia, salt water, motor oil, boric acid and nitrous acid. Applications include:
The basic and limit microprocessor based controller provides an economical solution for applications requiring simple on-off control. These controllers and limits are available in a broad range of packaging options, allowing users to select the best version for their individual application. The controllers and limits are available with or without an operator interface and can be ordered in square DIN panel mount, DIN-rail mount or open board design configurations.
